  • Select your database and click on second tab having name SQL. Click on Go.

  SET `comment_status` = "closed"
  WHERE `comment_status` = "open";

Now disable WordPress comments from your posts. If spammers want to make any illegal activity they will fail. You can also use captcha to stop spamming.
